Name four temperate fruits that are a shoo-in when it comes
to nutrition. Giving up? Here's a very short list of fruit must-haves.
Apples. Apples
are rich in vitamins and fibers which are good for digestion. Be sure to eat
the skin though (was them thoroughly first!) As most of the nutrients are found
there.
Oranges. Aside
from fiber, oranges are rich in vitamin C, a veritable cure-all to most diseases
as some people contend. So eat as is or drink as juice.
Bananas. They
are considered the most complete of fruits as they contain most of the vitamins
and nutrients the body needs. This is also the reason why eating a banana is
good if you are in a rush and why athletes are admonished to eat bananas when
training, as it is a ready meal. It is also rich in phosphorus.
Strawberries.
This fruit is rich in folate and other vitamins. Also some studies actually
indicate that this fruit may protect the body from cancer.
